HMS Prince of Wales Naming Ceremony

The second of the UK’s new aircraft carriers, the HMS Prince of Wales, was officially named in a high-security ceremony at Rosyth Naval Dockyard in Fife.

Prince Charles watched as his wife Camilla pressed a big red button to release a bottle of Scottish Whisky to break on the bow of the ship for good luck.

We provided high-speed WiFi on the naval base to press that had travelled from all over the UK to record this historic moment.

All technicians required were required to go through several weeks of rigorous security clearance before they were allowed on the naval base.
